Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Canada is seeking an experienced Industrial/Maintenance Electrician to lead maintenance activities on the afternoon shift.

You will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, collaborate with the planning team, and ensure equipment uptime for a fast-paced food production environment. The role requires 422A/309A certification, PLC/SCADA familiarity, and a track record of mentoring technicians while upholding GMP, CFIA, and BRC standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Industrial/Maintenance Electrician 422A and/or 309A.
• Hands-on electrical and automation knowledge related to food processing equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and controlling systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance staff in scheduling, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate with planner and parts clerk to minimize downtime.
• Perform RCA on recurring automation issues and coordinate third-party support.
• Ensure GMP, CFIA, and BRC compliance in maintenance activities.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement.
