Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Machine Operator for a night shift in Brantford to support a leading food production facility. You will operate and monitor automated machinery, perform setups, and ensure HACCP-compliant quality and safety standards are maintained.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operating experience, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation. You will work in a climate-controlled environment with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork, backed by Randstad’s support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably within a food or beverage environment.
• 1–2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated food processing and packaging machinery to ensure continuous production.
• Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and company standards.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Document production data, including output volumes, downtime, and quality control metrics.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing & logistics team to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor the flow of ingredients or packaging components.
