Manitoulin Transport is seeking a night dock worker to unload inbound and load outbound freight, document discrepancies, and maintain a clean yard and warehouse. You will reweigh and cube freight as needed and set up first-delivery loads daily, using a handheld device.

The role requires forklift experience, physical fitness to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are available through our dock-to-driver program.

Formación

• Must work well independently and with others.
• Self-starter; able to take direction.
• Physically fit; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Computer/handheld experience is an asset.
• Able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to solve problems when they arise.

Responsabilidades

• Unload inbound and load outbound trailers.
• Document overages, shortages, and damages on handheld device.
• Reweigh and cube freight as required; keep yard/warehouse clean.
• Responsible for claim-free movement and sorting of freight.
• Use computer to set up first delivery loads of each day.
