Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Canada is seeking a full-time cleaner to perform high touch disinfecting, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washroom cleaning at client sites. The role requires active engagement with colleagues, a professional appearance, and adherence to safety policies.

Transportation to multiple work locations is provided; a clear criminal record check is expected. Competitive hourly pay of USD 17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Communicate in English both written and verbally.
• Ability to engage in conversations with staff and supervisors.
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Be flexible with start and stop times.
• Must have leadership quality.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Full Time Continuous Employment

• High touch disinfecting
• Dusting
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Cleaning of washrooms
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Refilling Dispensers
• Emptying Garbage and recycling
• Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
• Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
• Machine running and mntc.
• Additional tasks as requested
• Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies
• Adherence to all company workplace policies
• Perform other duties as may be required
• Guide staff and problem solve

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Be able to work with slight daily changes
• A vehicle will be provided to commute to work locations
• Have a clear criminal record check
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial
• Be flexible with start and stop times
• Must have leadership quality

WORKING CONDITIONS

There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.

Compensation: $17.60 per hour
