Job summary

University of Guelph seeks a custodial Services team member to support cleaning across student residences and facilities on campus. You will work as part of Physical Resources, ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained environments for residents, guests, and staff.

The role requires the ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and meet the department's standards of cleanliness and service. Regular shifts include nights and weekend work.

Qualifications

• A minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 preferred).
• One (1) year custodial experience in major institutional sectors preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Uphold standards of service, gather waste, and tidy spaces.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked areas using cleaning tools.
• Work scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends.
