Job summary

Edon Management in Vegreville, AB is seeking Security Guards for a full-time, permanent night shift from 12am to 8am, Monday to Friday. You will monitor surveillance, patrol facilities, respond to incidents, and enforce site regulations to maintain safety for clients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ security experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Valid Alberta Security License is required.
• Standard First Aid and CPR with AED considered an asset.
• Completed Grade 12 Education.
• Excellent knowledge of security practices.
• Strong command of the English language (reading and writing).

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities according to Edon standards and contract requirements.
• Identify, address, and report security concerns.
• Uphold order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Respond to incidents, generate incident reports, and investigate security-related concerns.
• Conduct routine building walk-throughs and generate detailed reports.
• Follow access control, patrol procedures, and fire safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
• Work Monday to Friday; 12am to 8am
