Job summary

Dessert Holdings in London, ON is seeking a QA Technician (Nights) to support the administration of our Food Safety and Quality System. The role involves monitoring processes, performing audits, and working with the new products team on specifications, with start times between 10:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

and flexibility for days/weekends. Candidates should have food industry experience with HACCP, GFSI, SPC, a food science degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Windows.

Qualifications

• Must have food industry experience with HACCP, GFSI, and SPC.
• Food science degree or diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Windows environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor processes and products; evaluate and solve problems.
• Develop and maintain product/process specifications and SOPs.
• Evaluate customer/consumer complaints.
• Collaborate with New Products team on specs and implementation.
• Conduct audits to ensure regulatory and corporate conformance.
