Job summary

Maple Lodge Farms in Brampton, ON is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician on a 6-month contract. The role monitors HACCP/GFSI compliance, records results, and supports third party audits to ensure product safety and quality.

Shift is 3:00 am–11:30 am, with benefits and opportunities for advancement. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager – Operations, you will verify plant practices, document corrective actions, and uphold GMP/CFIA standards while supporting a fast-paced meat processing

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in HACCP/GFSI within the food industry
Knowledge of CFIA/regulatory standards, GMP, HACCP, BRC and food safety/quality requirements
Familiar with OHSA, WHMIS and workplace safety regulations
Post-secondary diploma required

Responsibilities

Verify plant practices and product compliance with customer and company requirements
Monitor area for GMP compliance and document results and corrective actions
Record tasks and maintain up-to-date records and documents
Monitor CCPs for the assigned department
Assist in providing documents for third party audits
Provide daily progress information to QA Supervisor/Manager
