Job summary

Volatus Aerospace Inc. in Vaughan, Ontario, seeks an OCC Pilot to join its Operations Control Center, overseeing remotely piloted aircraft operations in a sedentary office role, with overnight shifts during hours of darkness.

In this position you will monitor missions, coordinate flight activities, review operations data, perform pre-flight and post-flight procedures, and communicate via aviation band radio.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RPA operations and safety protocols.
• Experience with TC RPAS requirements is preferred.
• Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support safe RPA operations.
• Coordinate mission and flight activities.
• Review and analyze flight operations and performance.
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures.
• Communicate via aviation band radio with general aviation.
• Utilize radar and tracking systems to monitor flights.
• Coordinate with emergency response teams as required.
• Support system integration, validation, and operational readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
