Job summary

Chances Gaming Centre Fort St John is seeking a Night Shift Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with hourly wages from CAD 19.25 to CAD 21.00, based on experience and shift. You'll support culinary operations and contribute to guest experiences.

Responsibilities include preparing menu items, following recipes, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and assisting the Executive Chef with prep and inventory. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related cooking experience.
• Proficient English skills.
• Health and safety conscious and dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes the culinary team in the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards.
• Assists Executive Chef with menu ordering, inventory, and daily production planning.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment to Health and Safety SOP.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards and guide the culinary team.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions; manage quality from creation to service.
