Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is hiring Freight Team Associates to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and provide customer service, using reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines as needed.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of retail or distribution experience is an asset. The role requires a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings and weekends in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or asset.
• 1–2 years retail or distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Packing-out and packing-down merchandise as directed.
• Merchandising new items and promotions.
• Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shoppability.
• Communicating with other freight team members to ensure proper stocking.
