Job summary

Powell Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Fab Machine Operator (Nights) in Edmonton to set up and run CNC machines, fabricate precision parts, and maintain quality. You will work within the Fabrication department under the Manufacturing Supervisor, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety throughout production.

The role requires strong math, machine operation, and problem-solving skills. Candidates should have a High School diploma and CNC certification, with experience in stainless steel and

Qualifications

• Minimum education level of a High School diploma is required.
• Valid CNC Technician certification.
• Experience as CNC Technician in fabrication is preferred.
• Familiarity with MES and safety certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Study parts, blueprints, and drawings to determine operations.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances with micrometers and calipers.
• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, mills, shapers or grinders.
• Operate and monitor CNC machines and tools.
• Ensure tool inventory and proper stock levels.
• Support training of other employees and uphold safety standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to ISO requirements.
