Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Vaughan Toronto in Vaughan, ON is seeking an accounting-minded Night Auditor to balance and audit hotel revenues across 24 hours, prepare daily reports, and liaise with Opera for system issues. You will support guest services during night hours and ensure accurate financial records for a brand-new 272-room property.

Minimum High School diploma with customer service experience; fluent English required. Some college preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with customer service experience.
• Some college preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue and telephone revenue; assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
• Balance and audit for accuracy all room and tax charges, cashier’s reports, and guest and house accounts.
• Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepare customer tracking report, market segmentation report, food and beverage revenue report, and other auditing report necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of hotel revenues and expenses.
• Acts as hotel system liaison during night hours; open tickets with Opera or System Support during overnight hours if issues occur.
• Perform all Guest Service Representative functions as required; assist in booking room reservations; answer hotel phone calls and notify guests of messages.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide information.
• Follow Company and Brand Standards in all duties.
