Job summary

The Arlington Hotel & River’s Edge in Paris, Ontario is seeking a Night Auditor to deliver warm, attentive guest service during the night shift. You will oversee overnight operations, review records, respond to guest needs, and help ensure a smooth hotel operation from evening to morning.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hotel experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 11:00pm–7:00am. Smart Serve certification is required, and Opera Cloud experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hotel experience required.
• Friendly, professional and customer-service focused.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Smart Serve certification required.
• Availablity to work 11:00pm–7:00am, including weekdays and weekends.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality management is an asset.
• Experience with hotel property management systems, especially Opera Cloud, is an asset.

Position Details

Job Type: part-time, permanent

Vacancy: This posting is not for an existing vacancy (expanding headcount).

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, + $1 wage premium for nights

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Night Auditor, you’ll provide warm and attentive guest service while helping ensure a smooth hotel operation from evening through morning. • Prepare hotel financial records and reports in accordance with Carmen’s Group procedures
• Roll front desk systems forward to the next business day
• Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Promote rooms and other hotel services using effective selling techniques
• Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate leadership during overnight shifts

The Hospitality You Bring to Every Stay

• 1-2 years of hotel experience, preferably as a Guest Services Agent or Night Auditor
• Friendly, professional, and customer service focused
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Smart Serve certification required
• Availability to work 11:00pm to 7:00am, including weekdays and weekends
• Post-secondary education in hospitality management is considered an asset
• Experience with hotel property management systems, particularly Opera Cloud, is considered an asset
