Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Vancouver sales team.
What You'll Do
- Act as the single point of contact selling & servicing an integrated suite of Rogers Residential products (Bulk Internet, Access Agreements, Marketing Agreements).
- Responsible for growing and managing the business within a defined base of existing and prospecting accounts within the Development, landlord, and Construction verticals.
- Focus on IoT Smart Buildings and Smart Construction solutions.
- Manage multiple product portfolios, demonstrate growth, and cross-sell effectively.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas including new business bulk acquisition, marketing agreements, revenue targets, churn, and base revenue KPIs.
- Work collaboratively within a team selling environment.
- Build strong relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and stakeholders in assigned accounts & projects.
- Communicate effectively about client strategies, challenges, and asset management with business acumen.
- Apply modern selling techniques and virtual account management skills.
- Conduct in-person meetings as required.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop customized value propositions and overcome sales barriers.
- Create and generate customer pricing quotes, RFPs, proposals, and facilitate internal reviews for governance.
- Maintain high sales hygiene, forecasting, account planning, and industry intelligence.
- Become a subject matter expert on the construction industry in the BC market, including market trends and best practices.
What You Will Bring
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in Mid-Market / Strategic Segments, preferably within construction and development sectors.
- Experience in B2B mid-market / strategic sales to multiple stakeholders.
- Trustworthiness, strong business acumen, customer focus, and problem-solving skills.
- Telecom services sales experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology awareness and market trend understanding.
- Interpersonal and sales strategy implementation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable for new business development.
- Team player with proven funnel management experience.
- Experience presenting to executives.
