Job description

Arobas Personnel is seeking a Network Engineer for a contract position with one of our clients based in Ottawa.

*Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week in the office*

What will your daily tasks look like?

• Gather and analyze client requirements, then develop tailored solutions and proposals—including both technical and financial aspects.
• Lead the design and planning of telecom solutions, producing technical documentation, cost estimates, and integration support plans.
• Create and execute test plans for new network solutions; document outcomes and ensure technical validation.
• Configure equipment and hand off configurations to the operations team for deployment.
• Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with operational systems and processes.
• Coordinate project activities and maintain ongoing communication with clients to guarantee compliance with agreed-upon specifications.
• Recommend and design upgrades or improvements to maintain a modern, efficient network infrastructure.
• Draft detailed technical reports for various network-related studies and assignments.
• Work closely with enterprise architects to define technology targets and network evolution paths.
• Lead the resolution of complex network issues, stepping in when expert support is required.
