Job summary

The City of Thunder Bay is seeking an IT Client Services professional to support network repository, Active Directory maintenance, file access, end-user support, and problem resolution under the Manager - IT Client Services.

Responsibilities include documenting calls, assisting with enterprise software (SCCM, Exchange, Citrix), and collaborating with partners to implement solutions while maintaining clear communication with users.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in computer science, software engineering, or information systems or equivalent.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience accepted.
• Experience supporting network repositories and AD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and documents Active Directory users, group memberships, login profiles and file share access.
• Maintains and documents access for printing and scanning.
• Maintains and documents PC and laptop domain membership.
• Provides client support, resolving Tier 1 calls and coordinating with partners to resolve issues.
• Documents each support call and resolution for future reference.
• Collaborates with IT staff and partners on new solutions and problem solving.
• Develops training materials and conducts training as needed.
