Listuguj is seeking a Network Cabling Specialist Helper for a 6-month fixed-term contract starting November 2026. You will report to the IT Manager and support the Network Cabling Specialist in installation, termination, testing of cables, and mounting equipment such as smart boards and APs.

• Experience in general labor, construction, maintenance, cabling, or related hands-on work.

• Organize materials, maintain accurate labels, and pay close attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work at multiple sites.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a criminal background/Vulnerable Sector check.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Network Cabling Specialist in the installation, termination, and testing of network cables.
• Help maintain proper cable management and labeling practices under direction.
• Prepare and stage cabling materials and tools prior to installation.
• Assist in the installation and mounting of smart boards, projectors, access points, wireless antennas, and other equipment.
• Ensure alignment and secure mounting of equipment as directed by the Network Cabling Specialist.
• Transport and organize equipment to and from installation sites.
• Prepare work areas before installation activities begin.
• Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after project completion.
• Assist with site surveys by gathering measurements and documenting observations.
• Willingness to learn cable installation, termination, and testing procedures.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
• Manage time and prioritize assigned tasks as part of a two-person team.

Summary of Function

The Network Cabling Specialist Helper is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The incumbent reports directly to the IT Manager and works under the daily guidance and direction of the Network Cabling Specialist. This entry-level position provides hands‑on assistance in the installation, termination, and testing of network cables and related equipment. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in network infrastructure while supporting the installation and mounting of equipment such as smart boards, projectors, access points (AP), and wireless antennas.

Job Duties

• Assist the Network Cabling Specialist in the installation, termination, and testing of network cables.
• Help maintain proper cable management and labeling practices under direction.
• Prepare and stage cabling materials and tools prior to installation
• Assist in the installation and mounting of smart boards, projectors, access points, wireless antennas, and other equipment.
• Help ensure proper alignment and secure mounting of all equipment as directed by Network Cabling Specialist.
• Transport and organize equipment to and from installation sites
• Prepare work areas before installation activities begin.
• Ensure work areas are left clean and safe upon project completion.
• Assist with site surveys by gathering measurements and documenting observations.
• Willingness to learn cable installation, termination, and testing procedures.
