Vaco by Highspring seeks a NetSuite Finance Implementation Specialist for a 12‑month assignment. This mostly remote role requires occasional travel to Mississauga.

You will lead finance-focused NetSuite configurations, train business finance teams, and support cross‑business units as the ERP platform is deployed. The ideal candidate has extensive NetSuite experience across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and revenue recognition, with a CPA asset.

Job description

Our client is looking for a NetSuite Finance Implementation Specialist for 12-month assignment.

This opportunity is mostly remote, however a possibly commute once a month would be required to Mississauga.

The company is building a core NetSuite implementation team to roll out a common ERP platform across a large and diverse portfolio of businesses. We are seeking a finance-based implementation specialist to serve as a hands-on subject-matter expert throughout the program. Reporting into the NetSuite implementation project lead, you will be the go-to finance resource who trains and supports business finance leaders as NetSuite is deployed at their organizations. You will bring deep, practical knowledge of end-to-end finance processes and a strong command of how those processes are configured and executed within NetSuite. This is a full-time contract engagement of approximately one year.

About the Opportunity

• Act as the finance subject-matter expert on the NetSuite implementation team, guiding business finance leaders through the transition to NetSuite.
• Train finance teams across multiple businesses on NetSuite functionality and on how core finance processes flow within the system.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related questions during implementation, providing timely, practical answers and hands-on support.
• Translate end-to-end finance processes - order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, revenue recognition, along with others - into effective NetSuite configurations and workflows.
• Partner with each business to understand their existing finance processes and help map them into standardized NetSuite ways of working.
• Create and maintain training materials, process documentation, and job aids that finance leaders can rely on after go-live.
• Identify recurring issues and process gaps, and feed lessons learned back into the implementation team to improve future rollouts.

About You

• Extensive hands-on experience using NetSuite, with a strong understanding of how financial processes are set up and operate within the NetSuite environment.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes across the full transaction and reporting lifecycle.
• Prior experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation, or a similar finance-systems role would be an asset.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and support finance stakeholders of varying technical comfort levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across many businesses and cultures.
• Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-entity project environment.
• CPA (or equivalent professional accounting designation) is considered an asset but is not required.

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
