The Pharmacy Development team is a large multi-project team whose mission is to develop solutions that help pharmacy professionals to increase their efficiency and offer value-added services to their patients. The healthcare field is currently undergoing a rapid transformation toward a virtual, digital and connected world — and pharmacies are no exception. We're seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join our national Engineering team, where you'll play a crucial role in revolutionizing Canadian healthcare through our innovative Pharmacy Management System. As part of a dynamic scrum team of skilled developers and QAs, you'll tackle the exciting challenge of modernizing our healthcare product portfolio, creating secure integrations between systems, and implementing state-of-the-art technologies that directly impact practitioners and patients alike. Working under the Manager Technology Architect, you'll contribute to developing new features and evolving our existing solutions, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that drive business growth and enhance client satisfaction. This is an opportunity to shape the future of Canadian health practices while working with cutting-edge technologies and architecture in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What you’ll do

  • Get involved in the development of innovative system from end to end
  • Conceptualize and develop new initiatives to support the ever-evolving Canadian Pharmacy practice
  • Develop innovative and state of the art functionalities within modern systems
  • Ensure the good performance and quality of our mission critical systems
  • Integrate with various partners and apply security best practices
  • Participate in the design and improvement of our pharmacy software
  • Get involved in a thrilling and challenging product team working for the good health of Canadian citizens
  • Work with the latest and the finest architecture and technology stack of centralized system
  • Follow technical trends in the industry and maintain your technology expertise
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology (Computer Science, Data Sciences, or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of previous technical or software development experience (Delphi, .NET) with a strong foundation in and knowledge of agile process and principles
  • Excel in a collaborative and cross-functional setting, with an ability to co-create and execute with other business primes; interest in learning from others, and in teaching others
  • Well deserved in design patterns, best development practices, system design and integration
  • Knowledge on MS SQL Server
  • You have mastered development of full stack systems from the database to the presentation layer
  • You have experience in integration with third party APIs
  • Experimented and talented Visual Studio user
  • You have experience in SourceTree
  • Well deserved in design patterns, best development practices, system design and integration
  • You know your way around with modern source code manager such at GIT and SourceTree

Great-to-haves

  • Experience in Pharmacy
  • JIRA and Confluence knowledge

Salary Range: $82,000-$124,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefitssuch as:
