Base pay range

105,000.00 / yr - $145,000.00 / yr

Perceptyx is currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Activate team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that help organizations take meaningful action on employee feedback . You’ll work primarily on backend systems while having opportunities to collaborate across the stack. Some of our solutions incorporate LLM-powered capabilities, and we also focus heavily on intelligent nudges to drive behavior change. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to deliver thoughtful, high-impact features.

About the Activate Team :

The Activate team is dedicated to bridging the gap between insights and action through AI-assisted action planning and intelligent nudges. Our work empowers organizations to drive behavioral change , ensuring that feedback doesn’t just get collected—it leads to meaningful improvements. We're now expanding our focus to LLM-powered solutions to enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and personalize employee engagement strategies. Things You Will Do :

• Full-Stack Development : Develop and maintain applications using PostgreSQL, Python, Go, TypeScript, and React (70-80% BE Engineering work).
• Product Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to turn ideas into high-impact features .
• Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Scalability & Performance : Optimize backend and frontend systems for performance, scalability, and security.

Qualifications :

Please note : Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without needing an employment VISA or other sponsorship help.

• Experience : 0 to 3 years of professional experience, full stack software engineering is a big plus , and we also welcome Backend Engineers who are okay with performing occasional frontend work.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency or strong familiarity with Python and PostgreSQL. Exposure to TypeScript and React is a plus. Experience with Go is also a nice-to-have.
• Team Skills : Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional, agile team.
• Code Quality : Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Growth Orientation : Interest in learning modern development practices, including DevOps (e.g., CI / CD, containerization), and emerging technologies like LLMs and GenAI.
• Problem-Solving & Ownership : A proactive and solutions-oriented approach and mindset .
• Communication & Organization : Solid collaboration and organizational skills to work effectively with teams.
• Environment Experience : Comfortable working in an agile, iterative development environment .

Compensation :

Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The annual salary range for the role is $105,000 - $145,000 CAD . The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills / experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic / office location.
