Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a senior .NET developer for a 12-month contract in Canada, hybrid work with 3-4 days on site. The role requires 7+ years in .NET with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and Web API development in enterprise environments.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and secure authentication using OAuth 2.0/JWT, work with SQL Server, EF Core, and CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams in the BFSI domain.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Development, with strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and Web API development.
• Strong experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework (EF/EF Core), LINQ, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Identity Framework.
• Proven experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain, with knowledge of core banking systems, payments, lending, digital banking, and regulatory compliance.
