Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java developer for a hybrid role in Mississauga. The position focuses on building scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Kafka, and related technologies.

The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with Java, OOP, data structures, and relational/non-relational databases, and be comfortable in a modern cloud-aware environment with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Full Stack Java / Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Angular/React, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, SOA, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, Data Structures, and advanced Java concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server/Oracle and relational/non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka/Solace/JMS messaging systems.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, OAuth2, and JWT.
