Job summary

Aarorn Technologies Inc. is seeking a .NET Developer to join our Montreal team on a contract basis. The position requires onsite presence in Montreal, QC four days a week and a pay rate of CAD 60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop a .NET Core web job with EF Core to process documents, invoices and service records from Azure Storage and deliver to clients.
• Prototype a Kafka-based event pipeline to queue and route IVR/call events for streamlined resolution.
• Design a centralized notification microservice with hashing-based logic for SMS, email, and logging; evaluate Kafka topics/partitions for decoupling producers/consumers.
• Build full-stack monitoring tools with React and .NET Web API to track workflow jobs and IVR activity.
• Set up monitoring and health checks with Prometheus and Grafana dashboards for proactive alerts.
• Provide fast incident support to minimize production outages and guide root-cause analysis.
• Lead cross-functional teams through Agile delivery cycles aligning tech with business priorities.
• Promote AI tooling adoption (Claude, Devin, GitHub Copilot) to shorten sprint cycles.
• Advocate AI-driven development to boost code delivery speed by refining engineering practices.

• Built a .NET Core web job with Entity Framework Core to automatically pull and process documents, invoices, and service records from Azure Storage and deliver them to end clients.
• Automated IVR call handling for customer and vendor interactions by prototyping a Kafka-based event pipeline (POC) to queue and route call events asynchronously, streamlining resolution of customer-raised cases and reducing manual follow-up
• Designed a centralized notification microservice using hashing-based logic to manage SMS, email, and logging across the platform; evaluated Kafka topics/partitions as a POC to decouple producers (IVR, workflow services) from consumers (SMS, email, logging), improving scalability and fault tolerance.
