Niagara Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Marotta Family Hospital in St. Catharines. The role emphasizes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to deliver safe, compassionate patient-centred services.

Ideal candidates will hold Ontario RN registration, NICU experience, and NICU-related certifications (Neonatal Resuscitation, BCLS, and relevant coursework). Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualificações

• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• One year NICU experience in past three years.
• Neonatal Perinatal ICU course completion or willingness to complete within two years.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Knowledge of neonatal physical assessment.
• Commitment to breastfeeding support and family-centred care.
• Proficiency with documentation per best practice and CNO standards.
• Ability to function as most responsible nurse in a total patient care model.
• Regular attendance and computer literacy are required.

• Implement and evaluate nursing care and ensure safe, high-quality practice.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
