Job summary

Jobtailor in Stratford, Ontario is seeking a Quality Inspector to accurately inspect parts and materials dimensionally and visually, employing non-destructive methods where appropriate. You will read production prints, interpret instructions, and document data while maintaining 5S and quality procedures.

The role requires Grade 12, competency as an inspector or strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of quality systems, and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma is required.
• Competency at Inspector level or mechanical aptitude and/or related quality experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems/policies.
• Proficient use of standard measuring gauge tools.
• Ability to follow inspection protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Ability to setup/adjust various standard gauges.
• Must pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment.
• ITAR compliance required.

• Ability to follow inspection protocols prescribed in applicable quality procedures
• Ability to read and interpret production prints and other written instructions
• Ability to make setups or adjustments on various standard gauges or equipment
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix and required certificate(s)
• Must be able to pass Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check
• Must be compliant with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
