Job summary

Acuren is currently seeking an NDT Level 2+ Technician to support projects in the Pacific Region, specifically Langley, BC.

This role offers up to 30-40 hours per week with rates up to $39.56 to $57.36/hr, depending on certifications, and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic industrial environment.

Requirements include CGSB Level 2 UT/MT/PT certifications; IRATA is a plus; reside locally to Langley, BC or be willing to relocate; strong safety and quality awareness.

Qualifications

• CGSB Level 2 certifications in UT, MT, and PT are required.
• IRATA training is an asset.
• Residence near Langley, BC, or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing – UT, RT, MT, PT, ET per procedures.
• Interpret results, identify defects, and compare with codes/specs.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain records.
• Maintain NDT equipment and enforce safety and quality standards.

Job description

• Start date: March 2026

Acuren is currently seeking an NDT Level 2+ Technician to support projects in the Pacific Region, specifically Langley, BC.

• Position will be up to 30-40 hrs./week


• Rate will be up to $39.56 to 57.36/hr. depending on certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing – Conduct inspections using methods such as ultrasonic (UT), radiographic (RT), magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), or eddy current (ET) according to established procedures and standards.


• Interpret and Evaluate Results – Analyze test data and results, identify discontinuities or defects, and determine if they meet applicable codes, standards, or client specifications.


• Prepare Reports and Documentation – Accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and generate reports for review by Level 3 technicians or engineering personnel.


• Maintain Equipment and Ensure Compliance – Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot NDT equipment, and ensure all testing is performed safely and in accordance with industry codes and regulatory standards.
