Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) RT Specialist to support quality assurance within a manufacturing environment in Canada. The role entails performing NDEs per certs, inspecting products, reviewing drawings, and maintaining inspection records to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold recognized NDE certifications and have substantial fabrication, welding, or CWI/CWB qualifications.

Qualifications

  • NDE certifications from a recognized governing body (CGSB, AWS, CWB, or equivalent).
  • Must possess two of the following qualifications: CEDO; minimum 5 years of Fabrication/Machining Inspector experience with documented industry experience; minimum 5 years of fitting/welding experience; Certified Weld Inspector designation (AWS-CWI or CWB Level 2).

  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) RT Specialist to support quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing non-destructive examinations in accordance with certification requirements, conducting inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring products meet established quality standards. The successful candidate will be a safety-focused professional with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Shift Requirements

Candidates must be available to work any of the following shifts:

  • Weekday Days: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Weekday Afternoons: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
  • Weekend Days: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
  • Weekend Afternoons: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (paid for 40 hours)
