Job summary

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a hands-on Talent Development Program Lead for a 12-month maternity leave backfill. You will design and deliver leadership development programs, collaborate with regional teams, and ensure high-quality experiences across the firm.

The role emphasizes practical leadership and program management, with opportunities to lead a Coordinator and partner with stakeholders to move initiatives forward.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in talent development, leadership development, learning and development, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading talent or leadership development programs from design through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Strong facilitation skills, including leadership development and senior audiences.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Experience translating strategy into practical learning solutions and program execution.
• Experience leading or managing others through people leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in assessments, coaching, facilitation, or learning are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, and continuous improvement of talent development programs within the national portfolio.
• Translate priorities into high-quality program experiences and execution.
• Manage program plans, timelines, stakeholders, and vendor relationships.
• Serve as a lead facilitator for workshops and cohort-based initiatives across audiences.
• Develop and coach a Coordinator, Talent Development, and ensure effective collaboration across teams.
