Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Canada is seeking a National Sea Logistics Development Manager, Export, to drive strategy, development, and growth of our national export program. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of sales, trade management, pricing, carrier partnerships, and customer engagement.

You will identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and shape the future of our export business while delivering value to customers and supporting sustainable commercial growth across Canada.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Sea Logistics or Ocean Freight.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian export markets and trade lanes.
• Proven track record in driving export program growth and opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen and value-driven solutions for customers.
• Established relationships with ocean carriers and industry stakeholders.
• Ability to influence across cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national export growth strategy for Canada.
• Serve as subject matter expert for export ocean freight and containerized cargo.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities to grow export volume and profitability.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with carriers, customers, and partners.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Trade Management, and Customer Care to deliver solutions.
• Provide market intelligence and trade lane insights to support decisions.
• Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events.
• Align export initiatives across the global network for sustainable growth.
• Drive a culture of customer excellence in export logistics.
