As National Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 4 to 6 outside salespeople East of Toronto, selling customized corrugated Packaging solutions, paper bag products, retail packaging and displays, and supply and inventory management programs. The focus is to drive growth through strategy, coaching, leading, managing, training, and supporting your team's sales efforts to bring more business. This position reports to the Sales Director. This position offers a base salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 plus bonuses.

Our client provided custom corrugated packaging solutions, paper bag products, retail packaging and displays, and supply and inventory management programs. Our client has been in business since 1945. It is privately owned and headquartered in Canada, with 23 manufacturing facilities and over 2500 employees across Canada and the United States. They are expanding, and they are in the process of building a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Hamilton / Ancaster Area. OFFICE LOCATION AND SALES TERRITORY :

  • Head Office Location is in Scarborough, with manufacturing facilities across Ontario
  • The office location that this position will be working from is Scarborough, and the territory to manage is East Toronto, east of the 400 up to Ottawa.
  • This hybrid role requires working from the office 4 days per week.

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • 8+ years of B2B Outside Sales experience.
  • 5+ years of Sales management experience.
  • Proven sales experience in training and assisting outside salespeople in closing business.
  • Print, packaging, or related industry experience selling to end-users will be preferred.
  • An expert level at consultative selling and establishing a structured sales approach.
  • University or college degree in a business-related field.

  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Advanced
