The National Sales Director reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for leading BOLD’s Sales Team, ensuring customer acquisition and revenue growth targets are achieved by maximizing sales team potential and developing national strategies to keep BOLD competitive and innovative. The successful candidate will demonstrate an impactful corporate presence, exceptional attention to detail, communication and time management skills, and will provide stellar leadership to achieve our business objectives. This role must be based in Saskatoon, as a strong onsite and cross-functional presence with operations is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and execution of high-impact national sales programs and brand-aligned marketing campaigns
  • Evolve and lead the national sales strategy to achieve and exceed BOLD’s revenue and market share targets
  • Define and implement provincial sales objectives aligned with long-term national plans
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Anticipate market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and proactively position BOLD for competitive advantage
  • Continue to develop BOLD’s innovation pipeline
  • Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, marketing, operations, finance, and product development to ensure unified strategic execution
  • Track, analyze, and communicate sales performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead, develop, and inspire BOLD’s national sales force, including internal teams and third-party partners
  • Ensure sales teams are equipped with the tools, training, and support required to perform at the highest level
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct coaching and reviews, and lead compensation planning and talent development
  • Take on high-level strategic projects and executive responsibilities as assigned, with a view to future organizational leadership

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and lead a high-performing national sales team toward shared goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Canadian cannabis industry, including regulatory frameworks, profitability metrics, market dynamics, and customer segmentation
  • Gain extensive knowledge of BOLD’s product offerings and competitive positioning within the cannabis market
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding national sales targets in a CPG, fast-paced industry
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Strong capabilities in market research, forecasting, data-driven sales planning, and technical selling
  • Proficient in promotional planning, brand-aligned marketing initiatives, and go-to-market execution
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a national sales leadership role in a CPG industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour daytime shifts
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work based on business needs
  • Moderate travel required for market visits, customer engagement, industry events, and team leadership
  • Starting salary $100,000+
