Job summary

MNP is seeking a National Marketing Assistant to join a dynamic team in Canada. This role supports the marketing function across events, campaigns, digital initiatives, and reporting, collaborating with national, regional, and creative teams to promote the brand.

Ideal candidates have a marketing degree or diploma and 1+ years of marketing experience, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 1+ years of marketing experience and understanding of the marketing process.

Responsibilities

• Support National Marketing Managers across events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website, social media, lead tracking and reporting.
• Assist and track day-to-day administration of Clients and Services marketing campaigns, tactics, and assets.
• Provide assistance in collating metrics across multiple channels.
• Gather and compile market research for planning purposes.
• Coordinate client prospect programs, update databases, and prepare materials for distribution.
• Update financial tracking documents and campaign materials, providing updates as required.
• Consolidate monthly spending by submitting, organizing, and tracking invoices and updating budgets.
• Engage and build relationships across national, creative and regional marketing teams.
• Leverage marketing reporting, tools, and research for the Clients and Services team.

Responsibilities

• SupportNational Marketing Managers, with all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website, social media, lead tracking and reporting

• Assist with the coordination of client prospect programs, including updating and maintaining databases, client lists, and preparing materials for distribution to clients
• Update financial tracking documents and other marketing documents including campaign materials; providing updates as required
• Consolidate monthly spending by submitting, organizing, and tracking invoices and updating monthly budgets
• Engage and build relationships amongst national marketing, creative and regional marketing team members
• Leverage marketing reporting, tools, and research for the Clients and Services team

Skills and Experience

• Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or other related field
• 1+ years of experience in a marketing capacity, and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process and project coordination
• Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong administrative skills, including organization, attention to detail, and prioritization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be part of a highly collaborative team where the expectation is that everyone participates in the team’s success, regardless of seniority
