CI Investments Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a Service Associate to support the National Accounts Financial Advisor team. The role focuses on account management, trades, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within Assante Capital Management.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in financial services operations, solid communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Knowledge of DocuSign or Salesforce is a plus, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services operations and client services.
• Post-secondary education required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with DocuSign and Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process daily mutual fund, stock, and bond trades.
• Prepare paperwork for investment purchases, redemptions, switches, and in-kind transfers.
• Manage and maintain filing systems.
• Update and maintain non-financial requests.
• Coordinate with Assante back office on transfers and administration issues.
• Assist with coordinating digital marketing.
• Be the first point of contact for new National Account clients and triage with CI Assante resources.
