Job summary

CI Financial is seeking a Service Associate to join our Ottawa team and support the National Accounts Financial Advisor group at Assante Capital Management. The role focuses on processing trades, preparing paperwork, maintaining files, and coordinating with back-office and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services industry with a focus on operations and client services.
• Post-secondary education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process daily mutual fund, stock, and bond trades.
• Prepare paperwork for investment purchases, redemptions, switches, and in-kind transfers.
• Manage and maintain filing systems.
• Update and maintain non financial requests.
• Liaise with Assante back office on transfers and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with coordinating digital marketing.
• Be the first point of contact for new National Account clients and triage with CI Assante resources.
