Job summary

Bell Canada is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead National Account and Category Management on a hybrid basis across Canada. The role focuses on driving sales growth, developing retailer partnerships, and delivering strategic plans to meet revenue targets.

You will negotiate with partners, analyze market data, and present to executives while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution. Fluency in French is a plus for Quebec postings.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business or related discipline and equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of National Account Management and Category Management experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage key accounts, develop sales strategies, and achieve revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in developing delivering client- and executive-facing presentations.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

In this position, the incumbent will build and maintain business partnerships with retailers and distribution partners. This will be achieved by developing short and long‑term business plans and budgets, actively negotiating with the sales partner, and managing successful execution of all programs to ensure achievement of sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary focus is to achieve sales and revenue targets as set by management
  • Develop short & long term business plans to support organizational objectives
  • Manage a budget that includes promotional expense, compensation, and A/R functions
  • Develop, launch and evaluate retailer exclusive programs, working closely with internal company teams (Campaign, training) to leverage each retailers assets.
  • Work closely with Regional Field Sales teams to communicate and gain support for retail specific programs ensuring successful execution of all programs at field level.
  • Proactively identify regional trends and associated requirements.
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyze sales and business metrics and build associated action plans
  • Confidence and comfortable communicating with senior management.
Critical Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in business or a related discipline and equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of National Account Management and Category Management experience
  • Proven ability to successfully manage key accounts, develop sales strategies, and achieve revenue growth in competitive markets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office is a requirement particularly with Excel
  • Experience in developing delivering client- and executive-facing presentations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong problems solving and decision‐making skills, with the ability think creatively and leverage business acumen to resolve issues

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Total earning range: $104,000 - $127,000. The advertised salary range may vary slightly as it is based on the company’s current salary structure, which may be revised by the company, from time to time, at its sole discretion. The agreed upon salary may also vary from the advertised salary ranges depending on several factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience and internal equity

The salary range above includes an Annual Incentive Plan objective which represent 15% of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The Annual Achievement Incentive Plan (“AIP”) payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The AIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the AIP’s eligibility requirements. The AIP is subject to modification by the Company from time to time, at its sole discretion to better reflect evolving business structure, goals and strategies.
