Stantec is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Dartmouth, NS team. The role blends technical leadership, design coordination, and mentoring of staff across municipal water/wastewater projects.

You will engage in planning, design, and construction activities, with responsibilities spanning client meetings, regulatory submissions, and quality control. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in water/wastewater engineering, a civil/environmental/chemical/mechanical background, and a P.Eng or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, process, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related water/wastewater experience.
• Valid P.Eng or ability to obtain.
• Experience with municipal or industrial water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning, design and construction projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and permit applications.
• Mentor staff and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
