Job summary

COBIDE Engineering Inc. in Hanover, Ontario, invites applications for an experienced Municipal / Land Development Civil Engineering Technologist.

The successful candidate will contribute to design and inspection of municipal infrastructure and land development projects. Responsibilities include construction inspection, creating design drawings with AutoCAD Civil 3D, overseeing surveys using GPS/Total Station, and coordinating with teams to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in municipal and/or land development engineering.
• Registration with OACETT or eligibility.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspections and maintain daily reports.
• Design municipal infrastructure and land development plans using Civil 3D.
• Conduct topographic surveys and layout using GPS/Total Station.
