The successful candidate will contribute to design and inspection of municipal infrastructure and land development projects. Responsibilities include construction inspection, creating design drawings with AutoCAD Civil 3D, overseeing surveys using GPS/Total Station, and coordinating with teams to keep projects on schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Municipal / Land Development Civil Engineering Technologist for our Hanover office.
The successful applicant will be engaged in a variety of different assignments including the following:
Perform daily inspections of construction sites and work completed to ensure that projects are moving forward and on schedule. Maintain accurate daily reports summarizing construction activity and other important information for the day. Work may include analyzing and reviewing cost estimates for proposed projects, making recommendations regarding schedule and material lists when needed.
Design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, water mains, roads and parking lots. Work will include preparing project drawings and executing designs through the interpretation of design basis information provided by engineers for road reconstruction and linear infrastructure projects.
Perform topographic surveys, check construction grades and complete construction layout using GPS, Total Station and/ or laser level equipment.
