Job summary

City of Maple Ridge is seeking an Engineering Technologist to design, review and manage municipal infrastructure projects. You will prepare designs, budgets and schedules, coordinate with developers, consultants and internal teams to ensure alignment with bylaws and standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of municipal design and utility systems, with hands-on field experience and the ability to communicate technical details clearly.

Qualifications

• Graduation with a Diploma in Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as Applied Science Technologist or EIT in BC.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, schedule and administer municipal infrastructure programs and capital projects.
• Review engineering submissions for subdivision, rezoning, development and building permits.
• Provide technical guidance to internal departments and the public.
