Job summary

The City of Oshawa is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Project Manager to oversee municipal infrastructure projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate with internal teams, developers, and authorities to ensure on-time delivery within budget while upholding quality standards.

You will lead project management, contract administration, and cost reporting, establish QA programs, and support policy development.

Qualifications

• Four-year University degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Progressive experience in municipal infrastructure design, review, and delivery
• Leadership experience with teams and projects
• PMI PMP designation preferred or asset
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of budgets, reporting, and KPI tracking
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (Class G) with clean record

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the project management function for municipal infrastructure projects from inception to closeout
• Develop relationships with developers, municipalities, authorities and officials
• Oversee contractors and ensure quality control standards
• Manage cost control, scheduling, and change orders against budgets
• Prepare scope of work, designs, drawings, and tender documents; monitor bid process
• Establish QA program and communicate status to stakeholders; address inquiries and corrective action
