Tatham Engineering Limited in Bracebridge seeks an Engineer, Project Manager or Senior Engineer, Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects. You will manage design, approvals and construction administration for sewers, watermains, roads and related works.

The ideal candidate holds a P.Eng. in Ontario with 7+ years of municipal experience, strong design and project management skills, and a knack for mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario.
• Minimum of 7 years of municipal engineering experience.
• Excellent municipal design and project management skills.
• Experience completing Municipal Class EA Planning process.
• Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards.
• Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, mentoring and coordinating staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with business development is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and approve municipal infrastructure projects (sewers, stormwater, watermains, roads, grading, parking).
• Prepare tender and construction contract documents and provide construction inspection and contract administration.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring and training to junior staff; assist leadership with business development.
