Job summary

Circles & Squares Bakery seeks an experienced Millwright to keep production equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently across multiple locations in Canada. You will respond to breakdowns, support facility needs, and develop preventative maintenance systems.

The ideal candidate is self-starting, organized, and solutions-focused, with strong communication across departments and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of industrial mechanical experience; food manufacturing or bakery experience preferred.
• Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A).
• Red Seal endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain bakery, food-processing, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, power-transmission, and basic electrical issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and adjust systems for safety and reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Fabricate or modify parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, lathes, and milling machines.
• Develop and manage the preventive maintenance program across locations.
