Job summary

PreciKam Inc. is seeking a Level II Injection Moulding Technician in Montreal to print work orders per IQMS schedule, coordinate information flow across Tools Room, Material Preparation and Production, and oversee machine and peripheral operation.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of plastic materials and drying procedures, and the ability to operate all moulding machines. Training and safety compliance are emphasized in the job expectations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position or equivalent training.
• Basic knowledge of plastic raw material and proper handling and drying procedures.
• Able to operate all machines in the moulding department and understand inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company policies.
• Hanging and removing moulds on plastic injection moulding machines.
• Connect cooling circuits and mould heating units as required.
• Enter injection parameters for each mould installed and fill out related forms.
• Support Level III technicians and report safety, operational or quality issues.
• Aim to optimize machine cycle time and mould changeover time.
• Ensure parts meet customer and company quality standards.

Education

High school diploma or technical vocational training
