WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the General Manager, you will oversee your locations and lead our site operations teams across Canada. Reporting to the District Manager, your focus will be on delivering outstanding food and service daily.

You will implement programs at each site and support teams with hands-on operational management.

The ideal candidate has experience managing large, diverse teams and a proven track record in service excellence and people development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a senior leader for all operations, advocating for both our client and Aramark
• Maintain a safety-focused culture
• Ensure compliance with Aramark programs at all locations
• Deliver high-quality services across all contracted areas
• Train and develop management teams for contract compliance and service excellence
• Support succession planning for consistent service delivery
• Drive annual revenue growth through quality and marketing
• Audit services to ensure legal and contractual compliance
• Represent the district manager when needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred
• Minimum of 5 years leading large hospitality teams, including restaurant or quick service
• Advanced food safety certification
• Valid driver's license
• Experience managing multiple sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze financial data and reports
• Skilled in recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse teams
• Excellent relationship-building skills at all organizational levels
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
• Physical ability for light lifting and walking
• Knowledge of WHMIS, OH&S, and infection control
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Must pass a police background check
