Onni Capital, part of the Onni Group, in Vancouver, seeks an Intermediate Accountant to own the month-end close across multiple entities, automate reconciliations, and collaborate with the Controller on reporting and audits.

You will manage journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, GST/PST filings, and support investor reporting and annual audit. CPA designation or active CPA progress required; experience with QuickBooks and AI tools recommended.

Qualifications

Three or more years of full-cycle accounting with ownership of a month-end close.
CPA designation or active CPA program progression.
Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
Strong Excel and QuickBooks experience.

Responsabilités

Own the month end close across multiple entities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid amortisation, depreciation schedules, and account reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts for the operating companies Onni Capital builds, and keep them consistent with the group structure.
Prepare bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations, and investigate and clear reconciling items.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, manage payment runs within approval limits, and maintain vendor and customer records.
Prepare monthly working papers and supporting schedules for external audit, investor reporting, and GST/PST filings.
