Job summary

Safran Landing Systems Canada Inc. in Ajax, Ontario, is seeking an MRO Coordinator to manage the flow with the planner, ensure part availability, and maintain SAP batch and work orders.

You will track KPIs, optimize processes, and publish weekly status reports while liaising with cross-functional teams to meet repair schedules. The role requires 2–3 years in MRO or related fields, a degree in business administration or similar, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in MRO, aerospace, manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiar with Canadian Aviation Regulations pertaining to airworthiness requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the planner the flow of work throughout the R&O Shop.
  • Ensure the availability of parts to meet flow requirements as well as customer expectations.
  • Enter batch reports into SAP system.
  • Track KPIs including TAT/OTD/WIP/Backlog Management and work order Management.
  • Create and maintain work orders within SAP with accurate entry/issuance of parts and necessary documents.
  • Optimize work processes to improve efficiency.
  • Create, maintain, and publish weekly status reports as required.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure part availability.
  • Work with Supply Chain to resolve material shortages affecting repair schedules.
  • Communicate delays and recovery plans to stakeholders.
  • Track component movements and maintain inventory records.
  • Support quality and regulatory audits as required.
  • Willing to carry AOG phone after hours on a rotational basis.
