Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an MRI Technologist for the QEII Health Sciences Centre. The role covers MRI suite operations, supervision of students and staff, and ensuring high quality imaging with strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities include instruction, procedure performance, and safeguarding patients while maintaining accurate information systems. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of MRI Technology.
• CAMRT MRI exam and certification.
• NSRMIRT licensure in Nova Scotia.
• Demonstrated MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MRI suite operations and supervise staff.
• Ensure requisitions meet standards and correlate history with exams.
• Perform imaging procedures and patient care duties.
• Apply safety rules for MRI environment to protect all.
