Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking an MRI Technologist for Victoria, BC, to perform MR imaging and participate in a multidisciplinary health care team. You will handle requisitions, prepare equipment and monitors, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualified applicants have CAMRT MR designation (RTMR) and at least 3 years of related experience, including 2 years in MRI in an acute setting; CPR/BCLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Magnetic Resonance program
• Designation as CAMRT MR Technologist (RTMR)
• Three years related experience; two years MRI in acute setting

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and monitor patients.
• Prepare supplies and operate acquisition equipment.
• Archive acquired images and manage computerized patient data systems.
