Job summary

Humber River Health in Toronto invites applications for a temporary full-time MRI Technologist within the Medical Imaging team at the Wilson site. The role involves MRI exams across neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal and breast imaging, with emphasis on safety and high-quality imaging.

The successful candidate will have CMRITO registration as MRI Technologist, MRI certification, CAMRT preferred, and proven ability to work independently with strong communication and patient-service skills.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as an MRI Technologist is required.
• MRT plus MRI certification required.
• Registration with CAMRT preferred.
• Previous recent clinical MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scanning a variety of cases, including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, angiographic and breast patients.
• Prepare and assess patients for MRI including MRI safety screening, obtaining contrast consent, confirm exam validity, and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary
• Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS
• Knowledge of and dutifully follows MRI safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and self

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a MRI Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team.

Employment Status: Temporary Full Time

Duration (if contract): September 2027

Hours of work: 8 hour rotating shifts on weekdays, evenings, nights and/or weekends - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 – Management Rights

Hourly Rate Range: $36.84 - $51.77

Location: Humber River Health – Wilson site

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be IV certified.
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
